History of IDE Hard Disk

The presence of the hard disk drives can be dated back to early 1950’s. The first HDD’s were large and were only use in large data centers and offices because of it’s large power consumption. Engineers in the past few decades have worked really hard to improve HDD’s all every aspect: capacity, speed, reliability, power usage among others.
